Hercules® Tires Announces Additional Sizes for Terra Trac® M/T

FINDLAY, OHIO, September 13, 2017 – Hercules Tires is pleased to announce that the Terra Trac M/T, the brand’s mud terrain tire, is now available in two new 37-inch Load Range E sizes. First launched last fall, the Terra Trac M/T is a modern mud tire, designed for outstanding performance both on and off the road. The tire features unmatched on-road Road Hazard protection and Hercules’ 30-day Trust Our Ride Test Drive.

The Terra Trac M/T, in addition to the Terra Trac T/G Max and the Terra Trac AT II all-terrain tire, make up the Terra Trac Traction Series, a complete light truck lineup that offers drivers performance and traction, whether they’re driving on the job, trails or road.
The new size additions for the Terra Trac M/T include:
- 50R20/E 126P BSW
- 50R20/E 127Q BSW
According to Emans, the Terra Trac M/T is designed for the way consumers really drive. “Most drivers with mud tires spend the majority of their time on paved roads, not trails,” he said. “The design of this tire reflects that.”
Features of the Terra Trac M/T include:
- An exclusive Hi/Lo tread design that incorporates a higher void-to-rubber ratio on the outside of the tire for aggressive off-road traction, with a tighter center rib section for better on-road stability and reduced road noise.
- Variable full-depth siping to promote superior on-road wet traction for the life of the tire
- Stone release features, including stone ejector ribs and tapered steps, to help to prevent stone capture and drilling
- A reversible camouflage sidewall design that gives an aggressive, head-turning appearance.
New sizes and the entire Terra Trac M/T offering are available through American Tire Distributors in the U.S. and through National Tire Distributors in Canada.
